The Cuyler Manor Museum forms part of the Uitenhage Museum and is a Cape Dutch style house that has been brought back to life, showing off period furniture and giving visitors the illusion of stepping back in time.

The Homestead/ farm outside consists of an old mill and allows visitors to see and learn more about Angora Goats, weaving, spinning. There is a lovely herb garden and other farm animals which the kids are instantly attracted to.

Here you can learn more about traditional ways of making candles and soaps and gives you an insight into what life was like for the locals in previous years.
