Old Railway Station Museum

The Old Railway Station in Museum is an absolute must-see for locomotive enthusiasts. It is reputed to be one of the oldest railway stations in South Africa.

There are two vintage locomotives on display, a number of coaches, vintage equipment and period furniture and other quaint railway memorabilia that perfectly capture the nostalgia of the days of steam locomotives.

The building not only houses the Railway Museum - it also has a residence, waiting room and tea room. Remember to bring the kids along - there is no boy who wouldn’t be entranced by the magic of these beautiful trains.

Situated aproximately 35 minutes from Belvedere & Doncaster Cottages in Port Elizabeth.
