Where To Eat A Day's Worth Of Meals In Port Elizabeth,South Africa

Posted by PE Travel Blogger on Sat February 27, 2016 in Top 5 Port Elizabeth Restaurants.

Eat like a local!

Port Elizabeth is a fairly small town, but it’s always sprouting new restaurants and coffee shops.

To find a bit of peace and quiet, and sit in the middle of the city.

I chose three traditional spots, in the center as well as the outskirts. Honest and straightforward, just like South Africans.

BREAKFAST

Inside Port Elizabeth's most popular garden centre,Floradale Nurseries, is The Rose Garden Coffee Shop, perfect  for breakfast – and more. The traditional scones, home baked cakes and Eggs Benedict are firm favourites. The cappuccinos are wonderful. The baked lemon cheese cake is heavenly.

Dinner

Fushin Sushi and Eastern Cuisine is situated in the charming neighbourhood of Richmond Hill in Port Elizabeth. No.1 on Tripadvisor. You will find them on Stanley Street, where you can choose to enjoy your meal inside their comfortable restaurant, or take a seat outside and enjoy the cheerful social atmosphere to be found on the Stanley Street restaurant strip.

The restaurant is well-loved for its selection of exotic dishes such as Norwegian Salmon, Australian Eel, Soft Shell Crab and Peruvian Scallops or Alaskan Snow Crab, to name a few. The Robata Grill offers customers the opportunity to try traditional Kobe Japanese style cooking as well as Fushin Style Tempura and Asian Tapas.
