Daniell Cheetah Project
The focus of the project is to play a part in the conservation of the Cheetah (Acinonyx Jubatus), re-establishing pure gene lines, as well as to educate the public about the importance of conserving this amazing species. The Daniell Cheetah Project was established in May 2001.
Situated There is a 1 hour guided educational tour through the Daniell Cheetah Project. On the tour, guests will be able to see and learn more about meerkats, black footed cats, African wild cats, serval cats, caracal, cheetahs, leopards and lions. Also on this tour, guests will be able to enter an enclosure with a tame cheetah.
The rates for the Predator Tour will, from the 2nd of January 2014 are: children from 2-6 years R35/p from 7years and older R60/p. This tour does not need to be pre booked by guests. Booking for large groups is advisable. We are open daily (except 25th and 26th December and 1st January) from 09:00 till 16:00 for this tour.
Situated on the R75 towards Kirkwood. A visit to the Addo Elephants can be done turning this into an enjoyable day trip. Aproximately 45 minutes from Belvedere & Doncaster Cottages in Port Elizabeth.
